Greetings!
St. Ann’s school, Gauribidanur is a Catholic institution managed by St. Ann’s society, Switzerland. The society of the sisters of St. Ann laid its foundation in Switzerland in the year 1909, realising the need for nursing the sick.

Later finding that education was one of the crying needs of the time, the society also took up the task of educating the little ones and as such St. Ann’s school was started on 5th June 2000. It is a co- education school.

As I walked down the hallways of the school every day, I can feel the perpetual energy, movement of the spirit and the bubbling enthusiasm permeate the atmosphere. We are a school with a difference, we value individualism, creativity and innovation and strive to nurture them in our students.

Schooling is our first contact with the world, a period of joy, healthy competition, fearing, adjustment, sharing and love. It is not the wide open spaces, classrooms, the library, laboratories or the large fields that make the school. It is in the heart of the students and staff that the true institution exists.

Dear students, it is the people of find character live by their values. They are honest and are committed to truthfulness in thought, word and deed. True character thus encompasses the capacity of self -discipline.
